A quick mood and symptom journal
CoLog makes a quick mood or symptom journal: make a button like "Headache" or "Mood", turn on "ask for a note", and tap it whenever it happens. CoLog saves the exact time and opens a note for details. Week and Month views then show when it tends to happen.
Buttons to make
- Mood
- Headache
- Low energy
Tap to log now. Hold to log at the time under the timeline cursor.
Rules that remind you
- Mood Once between 19:00 and 22:00
- An evening nudge to check in, only if you haven’t yet.
Great for
- Headaches and migraines
- Mood tracking for therapy
- Allergy or symptom diaries for a doctor
- Energy levels through the day
Tips
- Log first, describe later: the time is saved the moment you tap.
- Bring the Month view to appointments. It’s faster than remembering.
- Log possible triggers (coffee, late screen time, skipped meals) next to the symptom.
Set it up in three steps
- Make the buttons. Pick an emoji, a name and a color, for example 🙂 Mood.
- Add a rule if you want reminders. Skip it if you just want a log.
- Tap when it happens. CoLog keeps the timeline and shows Day, Week and Month views.
Questions
Is my journal private?
Yes. Entries stay on your phone, or in your own iCloud or Google Drive if you sign in. CoLog can’t read them, and ads never use them.
Is CoLog free?
Yes. CoLog is free with ads, and every feature is included. CoLog Plus removes the ads for $1.99 a month or $14.99 a year.
CoLog is a logging and reminder tool, not medical advice. Always follow your doctor’s or pharmacist’s instructions.
